Biography
My Name is Sebastian Reyna, and I am 14 years old from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I have been participating in Water Polo since age 6 with Armada Regina Water Polo and for the last 3 years, I have been competing with Water Polo.Sask
This year, I have received the honour of being selected for the Team Canada 15U Boys National Water Polo “A” Team and will be travelling to Bauru, Brazil for the Pan Am Water Polo Championships in September 2025. I have been working to maximize my skills and development and I hope this opportunity will allow me to securely establish myself as one of the top 14 male players in my age group in Canada. My goal it to continue to make the selections for the National Team in my age group and advance my potential in this sport towards possible Senior National Team selection in the future.
am currently in grade 9 and participate in 7 in-pool practices per week, strength and conditioning training, and various tournaments (Western Canada – Calgary, Edmonton, California USA, and Montreal Canada) from September to June. I participate in competitive speed swimming with Regina Piranha’s Summer Speed Swimming Club from May to July. I have also obtained my Bronze Cross and Bronze Medallion this year and have plans to get my National Lifeguard Certification once I turn 15.
There is limited funding available to support Water Polo Canada and the fees to participate are significant, therefore I am seeking additional financial support to assist with the travel expenses for Brazil this summer. Any contribution would be greatly valued and appreciated!!!
