Climbing highest Peaks on Earth
My name is Uta Ibrahimi, and I am a passionate mountaineer from Kosovo. In 2017, I had the honor of becoming the first person from Kosovo to reach the summit of Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. This achievement ignited a deep desire within me to conquer the 14 highest peaks on our planet.
Since then, I have embarked on an incredible journey, successfully climbing eight of these majestic peaks. Among them are Mount Everest (8,848m), Manaslu (8,163m), Cho-Oyu (8,201m), Lhotse (8,516m), Gasherburum 1 (8,080m), Annapurna 1 (8,091m), Makalu (8,485m), and Dhaulagiri (8,167m). As a result, I proudly hold the distinction of being the first woman from the Balkans to summit seven 8,000-meter peaks. Additionally, in 2019, I was part of the prestigious 'National Geographic Team' that reached an altitude of 7,800m on the challenging Lhotse South Face.
My unwavering aim is to conquer the remaining six of the world's 14 peaks above 8,000 meters while simultaneously engaging in various campaigns to spread messages of determination, stamina, and positivity to people from all walks of life.
This summer, I am planning to embark on a challenging expedition in Pakistan, starting with Nanga Parbat (8,126m), followed by K2 (8,611m) and Broad Peak (8,051m).
I have made efforts to fundraise within Kosovo, but I am in need of additional support to realize these ambitious goals. Therefore, I am reaching out to you for your assistance.
By supporting me today, you are not merely contributing to a fundraiser; you are investing in something far greater. You have the power to change my life and help me continue pursuing my dreams. Your support will enable me to inspire others with my achievements and spread positive messages of perseverance and strength.
I am immensely grateful for your consideration and support. Together, we can make a significant impact. Thank you for believing in me and joining me on this extraordinary journey.
With heartfelt appreciation, Uta Ibrahimi
